Wayne Johnson founder and creative director of Johnson/Saia Web Development firm

Arrived in DC on Thanksgiving day and besides spending time with the family all I had in mind was to get the opportunity to interview the young successful Entrepreneur, Wayne Johnson. I have been doing my research about Wayne since last year when I came across a photo shoot taken by him. This young men is the founder and creative director of Johnson/Saia, which it is Dc's leading Digital Marketing firm. The first thing that came to mind was Wow this guy is really smart, a business man, and a party body. It is very rare when you see this nice balance in a young black men. Another thing that triggered my attention was that he always had a "Good girl" under his arms. Definitely not the typical successful young man you usually see or hear about. I knew I had to interview him so other young smart men out-here can have some guidance to follow. He is an Amazing Role Model besides his driving record but we will leave that out for now.

I spend about 30minutes with Wayne and I bet I learned more about him than most of you ladies know about your boyfriends smh. This young Genius explained to me how he was still taking high school classes online while attending his first year of college at Bowie State University. Crazy huh!? well he was kicked out of high school so he had to take online classes and Bowie State Accepted him while still taking high school courses. In high school his G.P.A sucked because he was never in class but his SATs were amazing and thats how he was granted a full scholarship to Bowie State University.
Wayne started photography as a hobby at the age of 14 years old by taking pictures of dope skate boarders and then he became familiar with administration/Designs, new concepts of integration, and creating mobile applications. He mentioned how his mother is also very familiar with technology designs and how she always kept him updated with the new technology toys. While doing some side work,he was obligated by the IRS to establish a business which was back then "Webshell Studios". Because of all the money he was making from developing websites. At 18 years old Wayne snatched a position at Omnisystem, Inc Web Design company, which is #1 top web developing company in the Virgin Islands. He started as a Senior web developer. There he learned how to research on his own the way to do web-design proposals, seeing that no one else were trying to share the information. He did the reading and learned the formality of a promising proposal. Then while attending college, running his own business and doing party promotions on the side he decided to be a college dropped out after 2 years at Bowie State. He dropped out because after he became the professor's assistant he caught himself sometimes teaching the class more than the professor himself. Besides all of his success, he also explained his bad times and how he learned from them. He was a reckless driver and now that he is paying like 4xs what an average person pays for car insurance he has finally learned his lesson. He also advises to the young black community to save money and to have your priorities in order. He puts it as Obligation>School or Work> Family and then Party. He also makes very clear how many people start a business/dream without a foundation and thats suicidal, he learned from one of his mentors,David Chandler, that having a solid foundation like a secure Job is crucial to make your dreams into reality in a much more realistic way. He believes that the black community does not value saving money and that is very important for a successful tomorrow. I asked him what were 3 things that someone can do so unprofessionally that he will never work or hire them ever again, he answered, 1. Lack of communication as of not enough emails or phone calls and thats how dead lines are not met and dissatisfaction occurs. 2. When someone promises a great job and does a half-ass job at the end of the project 3. and one of the worst is being late when its time to pay for the work. I also asked him which I thought it would be very helpful for the future Entrepreneurs, What are 3 advices he wished someone would have told him four years back, 1. Drive at speed limit at all times because your Insurance will hurt a lot later, 2. Save money and save some more money, and 3. Always keep your priorities in order. The other fact about him that made him so interesting was that he always had a smart "Good girl" under his arms. When I asked him about her all he had to say was that his goal in a love relationship is to have an equal partner not someone that always needed him. I though this was so nice to hear because there are many smart woman that dumb themselves down to catch a guy and he is prove that there are still real men out here looking for their pretty independent females to call them their Wife's one day.

So now that we got to know this Amazing young black entrepreneur man and the way he became to be who he is now, I had to ask him the "DopeIzzy's Fav 5"

1. Have you ever licked a girl's toes before, and if so would you do it again? Yes I have and Yes I would do it again.
2. Angelina Jolie or Oprah Winfrey's money for a night? Oprah's money.
3. Nicki Minaj's body or a night at P. Diddy's all white party? Most likely P.Diddy's all white party.
4. Whats one thing a girl can do to win your heart that no other girl has done before? Take me on an international vacation, planned out and everything.
5. Do you prefer it with the lights on or off? On.

I had the most amazing time interviewing Wayne Johnson and I hope this role model has helped any upcoming young or older entrepreneurs to learn his steps of success and reach the top though this interview.
