The Mysterious Miss Diddy tells it all...

I managed to get this Amazing, Beautiful, and Young woman to sit down with me for this interview and I came out with more than what I expected. Miss. Diddy is that girl in the entertainment business that attracts everyone's attention because of her mysteriousness and confidence. She is so inspirational with such a loving soul. One of those people that you can see God through them...Amazing right....I conducted a 2hr interview with her last week and there were so many things I wanted to discuss on my blog about her that I didn't know how to start....
First off, I started the interview by realizing that she wasn't wearing any make up what so ever lol...Still looking beautiful tho must admit. Diddy was born and raised in Compton California by New yorkers. Crazy right. How cool is that having the best of both worlds I must say. Diddy grew up among the gangs in the hood as most would describe it. She explains that she understands the gangs and its so upsetting how it evolved to killing because it all had started with kids in broken homes looking for a family. Diddy is one of the few that were able to get out the hood but she is proud of being part of it because it made her the complete woman she is today. She says the experience she got from growing up in the hood is priceless and a true blessing. I asked her if she could describe herself in one word what would it be and she said "an ambassador". She explained how much she loves working with people specially helping teens to be a stronger and more positive generation. Here are a few questions I asked her and her answers...

1. How did you get started in this Industry? "I started back in 2003-04 with Kanye West. Working his promotional campaign I created the 'Good Girls' which was a group of pretty girls promoting at clubs and it became very known and successful."
2. I always hear you saying that you only hang with pretty girls..What is a pretty girl to you? "Definitely confidence and personality. Also hard workers and independence, that when you walk in a room everyone can respect you and acknowledge you for the woman that you are. My girls are pretty girls because they all own all those characteristics."
3. Who is your role model? "Mom, Brother, and Jesus"
she explained to me almost in tears how dear her mom is to her because of how strong and loving her mother is. We also talked about her older brother and he is just such an amazing role model to her. She told me that he has always been there for her and has always been her voice of encouragement and supporter. She also stated that her brother always picked up her father slacks in a way while growing up.
4. What are 3 key points for success that you would tell a young girl coming up in this Industry?
"to never never lose yourself, Never sacrifice your integrity and all the values you grew up with, and always always go for your dreams."
5. Are you single at the moment? "yes lol, I'm too focus right now to put myself through a relationship. Its really hard to be in a relationship in this business because most guys that are not in the industry can't understand why another male and I can be so cool without us being interested in each other."
6. What about the guys in the Industry? "They go for the girls with bad in-tensions and end up getting hurt than they never trust anyone else after that..Its all about perceptions."
7. Whats one of the craziest things a man has done for you before? "lmao buying a ridiculously over priced flight ticket just cause he wanted to see me"
8. Who is your ideal man figure? "Someone like my brother. I look for Integrity in a man, when you say something do it. I like a man that's loyal, supporter, sees the best in me, a loving man, never disrespects a woman, hard worker and honesty."
9. Whats your next big project? Its working for the teens. I cant really go into details right now but its to help guide our next generation for a better future. I feel that the adults of today forget that we are the future and we don't have anyone to guide us. They need to understand that if they don't help us, all the hard work they did will never go anywhere. We need to be guided."
10. How do you see yourself in five years from now? "Living my dreams, having a boys and girls club for the youth, having a network like Oprah to filter what the kids are being exposed to, having more properties to invest her money in and just living life with God.

Lol it was funny because at one point in the interview she says to me that she's not materialistic and I look behind her and she rolled up in a 2010 brand new BMW.. lmao..She definitely restates her comment and explains that she just has to have a nice car because she works really hard lol but besides that she isn't materialistic at all.

  1. As I mention via tweet from @nOt24seven I appreciated the article on Miss Diddy. I had no idea what she had did, although I knew it was something important from the ustream session she accompanied Teyana Taylor with a few weeks ago in Miami. From listening to what Teyana had told her viewers on various occasions on her ustream, I knew she was a young woman that had a lot of self-respect and had a feeling she would find female friends that shared this belief. I wish nothing but success for Miss Diddy who has taken the route to do self-less deeds in helping others and respect her for never forgetting where she came from and appreciating the experiences, whether good or bad from where she grew up.
